Human-Centric Energy Management
Human-Centric Energy Management System aims to enhance energy efficiency of the micro factories’ and manufacturing industry SMEs’ by integrating technology with artistic elements. Software will be developed with open-source tools to ensure sustainability of the solution by incorporating gamification to increase engagement and artistic designs to improve worker well-being.
Energy Management System (EnMS) solutions are essential for production facilities to manage energy planning and efficiency amid volatile energy supply and prices. These systems also contribute to resource efficiency, reducing water and raw material use, waste, and carbon emissions, aligning with cleaner production methodologies.
However, managing EnMS across a facility is challenging, as it involves almost all processes and requires significant human communication, coordination, and effort for continuous monitoring and improvement. The cost of the solution is also another issue for the small facilities to be considered.
Human-Centric EnMS planned as a solution with open-source technologies at no cost to ensure sustainability of the system at the facilities regardless of financial concerns.
Engagement and well-being of the users of the system and the facility planned with gamification measures and artistic elements to increase awareness, implement the system user friendly and support well-being of human works at the facility with the power of art.
